Write for us

Energy Field publishes long, useful essays for Australian readers. We welcome pitches from practitioners, researchers, carers and writers who can stay in the room with uncertainty — people who will not sell a miracle and will not sneer at a tradition they have not bothered to learn.

What we are looking for

  • Original work, not rewritten press releases or content-mill drafts.
  • A clear Australian setting: climate, work patterns, food, water, health systems.
  • 1,200 words or more, with a point of view and reported or lived detail.
  • Topics that sit inside our hubs: sleep, water, food, the energy field, everyday vitality.
  • Honest handling of evidence. If you are writing from practice, say so. If you are writing from a trial, cite it.

What we will not run

  • Disease treatment claims, supplement stacks as medicine, or anything that tells a reader to stop prescribed care.
  • Personal attacks, conspiracy frames, or secret-cure rhetoric.
  • Thin listicles, AI-shaped filler, or essays that exist only to place a backlink.
  • Copyrighted images you cannot licence. We prefer Creative Commons or public-domain photographs, credited on the page.

Links, payment and disclosure

Editorial links are chosen for the reader. Guest authors may propose one contextual link to their own work. We edit or remove links that exist only to pass PageRank. Any paid placement, sponsored mention or guest post published as advertising carries rel="sponsored". Authors must declare conflicts: a clinic, a training school, a product, a paid relationship.

How to pitch

Send the contact form with the topic "Write for us / guest essay". Include a working title, a 150-word standfirst, a short bio, and two or three sentences on why this essay belongs here rather than on a clinic blog. Do not send a finished 4,000-word draft until we ask. We reply when we can; a silence after three weeks is a no.

Before you write, read the editorial standards and a hub that matches your subject — start with Deep Sleep Zone or the Human Energy Field if you are unsure.

Questions from contributors

Do you pay for guest essays?
We consider unpaid contributed essays that meet the guidelines, and we will discuss a fee only for commissioned work. Paid placements are labelled and carry rel="sponsored".
Can I include a link to my clinic or shop?
One relevant contextual link may be accepted after review. Product pitches, affiliate stacks and link-exchange requests are declined. Any paid link is marked sponsored.
What length do you want?
1,200 to 2,000 words. Shorter pieces belong somewhere else. We edit for Australian English and house style.
